Lynn Sloman  

Lynn founded Transport for Quality of Life in 2002. She is also Vice Chair of the Commission for Integrated Transport, and a board member of Cycling England, the body set up by the Department for Transport to increase levels of cycling. She is an honorary senior research associate with the Centre for Transport Studies at University College London. She was formerly Assistant Director of Transport 2000, now Campaign for Better Transport, and Special Adviser to the Board of Transport for London. She has 16 years experience in the transport field.

 
Ian Taylor  
Ian joined Transport for Quality of Life as a partner in 2003. His recent work includes leading projects on achieving a socially just transport system in the face of oil scarcity, impacts of rural traffic noise and compilation of The Essential Guide to Travel Planning for the Department for Transport. He was formerly manager of the environmental consultancy services for the Centre for Alternative Technology and previously has worked as Scientific Political Adviser for Greenpeace and a campaigner for Oxfam.  
Carey Newson  
Carey has worked as an associate with Transport for Quality of Life since 2003. She has been closely involved in the initial development of travel planning for schools, workplaces, leisure sites and residential developments, researching and writing a series of national guidance documents and establishing a variety of good practice networks. She is co-author of Predict and Decide: Aviation Climate Change and UK Policy, published by University of Oxford Environmental Change Institute, and recently ran Tourism in a Lower Carbon World, an expert seminar.for Natural England and the UK Energy Research Centre. She was formerly an Assistant Director at Transport 2000 (now Campaign for Better Transport).  
Jillian Anable  
Jillian has been an associate since 2008, and previously worked on joint projects with Transport for Quality of Life in her former role as Research Fellow at The Centre for Transport Policy, Robert Gordon University. From 2008 she has taken up a senior lectureship at University of Aberdeen. Jillian has developed a ground-breaking typology of motorists’ psychology and habits, and amongst wide research interests has recently completed research on climate change impacts of transport for the Commission for Integrated Transport
